Amazon Bird

Goldie the Bird needs a home

All she wants is to go with her best friend, Big Bird, to a warm and safe home. He's been her one true friend, born in 1979. Her past relationships with people appear to have been stressful. So she's very protective of Big Bird, even coming across as aggressive. But that's not the case. She just doesn't want anyone else to hurt her or her friend. The pair came to Best Friends from another rescue group not equipped to care for both of them. So now they're at Best Friends, where they are free to hang out together and learn how to enjoy human friendship. And they'll have to be adopted together because separating them would be too stressful for their fragile hearts. Since being here, Goldie has shown a promising attitude toward women, more so than men. And as long as Big Bird isn't in harm's way, she could just follow his lead. Anything Big Bird does, she does (is she a blue-fronted Amazon or a monkey?)Big Bird and Goldie will need both an indoor cage and an outdoor enclosure, to ensure lots of mental stimulation and a good quality of life. It will take a sweet, gentle person willing to work to gain Goldie's trust. But it will be so worth it to finally see these two friends settle into your home. What do you say?
